Terms and Conditions
This Agreement between you and Hamlin Bank and Trust Company contains the terms and conditions governing the use of Hamlin Bank and Trust Company’s Online Banking services. These terms apply whenever you use Online Banking to initiate transactions or access account information. The words "we", "our", "Bank" and "us" refer to Hamlin Bank and Trust Company. The words "you" and "your" refer to each person or business entity that maintains an account accessible through our Online Banking Services. Please read all documentation carefully. By requesting and using these services, you agree to comply with this Agreement. You may want to print this documentation for further reference. The laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and applicable federal law govern this Agreement.

The terms and conditions in this Agreement are in addition to any deposit account agreement or other agreement you have with us relating to your deposit accounts, including any disclosures made pursuant to applicable laws and regulations governing such agreements. When you use our Online Banking Services or permit any other person or entity to use our Online Banking Services, you agree to the terms and conditions we have set out in this agreement and any instructional material, which we provide you regarding these services. Access to these services may be accomplished by use of certain numbers, codes, marks, signs, public keys or other means of establishing your identity and acceptance of the electronic communications that are acceptable to us. All electronic communications that meet these requirements will be deemed to be valid and authentic and you intend and agree that those electronic communications will be given the same legal effect as written and signed paper communications. You agree that electronic copies of communications are valid and you will not contest the validity of the originals or copies, absent proof of altered data or tampering. You agree that the Bank may provide any notices required by law or by this Agreement in electronic form.

We may modify the terms and conditions applicable to these services from time to time upon mailing or delivering a notice of the modifications to you at the address shown on our account records and the revised terms and conditions shall be effective at the earliest date allowed by law. We reserve the right to terminate this Agreement and your use of these services in whole or in part at any time without prior notice.

Our Online Banking Services will allow you to view your account information, view and print your deposit account statements and cancelled checks, transfer funds between your account(s), make loan payments, and correspond with the bank. New services may be introduced for our Online Banking Services from time to time. By using these services when they become available, you agree to be bound by the rules that will be made available to you concerning these services.

Hours of Operation
The services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, except during special maintenance periods. For purposes of transactions, our business days are Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. All Online Banking transaction requests received after 5:00 P.M. on business days and all transactions that are requested on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays on which we are closed, will be processed on the next business day. The business day begins at 8:30 A.M.

We will provide instructions on how to use our Online Banking Service. You will gain access to this service through the use of your PC, Internet Browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), your User ID and password. We will not be responsible or liable for the performance or operation of your equipment, hardware, software, Internet Service Provider, Internet browser, or any part of them. We are not responsible for any error or failures from any malfunction of your computer or any software, and we are not responsible for any computer virus or related problems that may be associated with the use of an online system.

Lost or Stolen Username and Password
If you suspect that your username and password have been lost or stolen, call us immediately at (800) 747-9443 between the hours of 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. If you believe your username and password have been lost or stolen and you tell us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft, you can lose no more than $50 if someone uses your username or password without your permission. If you do not tell us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft and we can prove we could have stopped someone from using your username and password without your permission had you told us, you could lose as much as $500.

Inactivity and Termination
You are responsible for complying with this Agreement and with the terms of the Agreements that governing the deposit or loan accounts that you access through our Online Banking Service. We can terminate access to our Online Banking Services without notice to you if you do not comply with these Agreements or if your accounts are not maintained in good standing. Your access may also be terminated if you do not access or conduct a transaction through our Online Banking Services for a period of ninety consecutive days or more. If your access is terminated, any transactions scheduled through our Online Banking Services for future dates may not occur. You must contact us to renew your access. To cancel access to our Online Banking Services, you must provide us with written notification stating that you no longer wish to use our the services. This notification should include your name, address, and the effective date to stop the services. You may notify us by sending an e-mail to customerservice@hamlinbank.com or by mailing a signed letter sent to the attention of Customer Service, Hamlin Bank and Trust Company, 333 West Main St, Smethport, PA 16749.

There are no monthly fees for accessing your account information through our Online Banking Services. A return item charge of $15.00 will be assessed for each transaction that cannot be paid from your deposit account. A $15.00 overdraft fee will be charged for each item that overdraws your deposit account.

Your privacy and security are very important to us. To enroll, you will need the information listed below. This information is personal to you, but will be verified when your application is reviewed against our files. In addition, you will receive a notice, mailed to your address of record, as an added security measure to confirm your enrollment intentions.
